ITS 5-0, BTW WE ARE NOT COUNTING!!

India has beaten Pakistan once again in a WC match. Great game but greater camaraderie. These are some of the headlines after Indo-Pak match bordering on bonhomie and pleasantaries. In reality though and to a greater extent from a patronizing view, India has THRASHED Pakistan once again in a WC match. Once again the unpredictables, the conjurers, have been humbled, embarrased by an Indian side in a WC match. This is just not cricket people, make no mistake about it. One could see pride, even subtle gloating in PM Manmohan Singh's sheepish smile after India wrapped up the match that conveyed emotions like, 'Yeah baby, we got you again, woohoo' while all that Gilani Saab could muster was a deep sigh. When an avid India supporter was asked after the match ,'So cricket won in the end?' He replied, 'Are you kidding me,? India won, man. And we will win the WC in Mumbai. SL Beware.Hooyah, Hooyah!!'. So am I bleeding blue? Not that much I think so, apart from the fact that we groaned and moaned at every missed chance, bad ball, misfield and roamed Bangalore after the match, screaming hysterically,' Come On, India, Commeee Ooon' till our voices turned hoarse, high-fiving strangers like they were my long lost brothers. Cricket does that to you. Especially if you are an Indian. And especially after your team won the WC semi-final. And especially if it was against Pakistan.
